We currently are on the KDSFnetwork to sim. Our channel is #USS-NiftyJewels.

Here is a step by step guide on how to connect using mIRC.

1. Download the program from www.mirc.com and install it. If you need help with installing it please ask one of the crew or Captain for help.

2. When you start up mIRC you should get a popup screen that asks for your NAME, E-MAIL, NICKNAME and ALTERNATIVE. Fill in you name and e-mail to whatever you want. If you do not want to reveal that information you do not need to. Under Nickname, put a name you would like other chatters to see you by such as, Joe576, Teroa, BobTerminator34 and so on. Alternative is a spot for another Nickname incase the first one you picked is in use on the server.

3. Click the ADD Button in the top corner of the window. Now you should see it asking for DESCRIPTION, IRC SERVER, PORT and GROUP. Fill them in with the following information:

Description: Nifty Jewels 1

IRC Server: irc.kdsf.net

Port: It should already say 6667. If not please change it to 6667.

Group: NiftyJewels

3. Now after clicking Ok and filling the information press the connect button right below the list of different servers and networks. That should bring you to a connect screen showing your status.

4. After you have connected type /list for a list of channels and /join #USS-NiftyJewels to join our channel. If you need any more help please refer to www.mirc.com and/or the Crew/Captain.
